How it works
Once slaughtered and dressed, we weigh your steer hanging on the butcher's hook. Depending on how you choose to fill out the cut sheet, you can expect to yield 61-64% of your steer's hanging weight in packed vacuum sealed beef. ie: (Bone-in is heavier than boneless like ground)
Send us an email RobertsonRanchBeef@gmail.com or give us a call at 615.351.3233 and we will walk you through the process.
You pay for the hanging weight.
What are the benefits?
Your ground beef will all come from one animal. The quality you enjoy with the first steak is the same for every time you reach in your freezer. The market value on beef could rise so you're paying the market price when you purchase.
How much freezer space will you need?
1/2: 19-24cu ft freezer / Whole: A large deep chest is needed.
How long can frozen beef last?
If beef is flash-frozen and vacuum sealed, it can last up to 12 months or longer.
